him! research & consulting is a research-based retail consultancy working mainly in food retail and distribution/wholesale.
We speak to over a 100,000 shoppers, consumers, retailers, store sales staff and head office executives each year to become better informed advisors to our clients and partners.
We work with over 100 blue-chip fmcg organisations, including food retailers, food manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, service-providers to the food industry and industry trade bodies.
We run authoritative syndicated shopper tracking programmes in these food & leisure industries: Convenience, grocery, CTN, discounters, wholesale, ontrade, foodservice and pharmacy.
These tracking programmes are cost-effective (because they’re syndicated), independent (managed entirely by us on behalf of industry stake-holders), fact based (involve shopper and consumer unbiased opinion and feedback) and enable trends to be tracked (many programmes have been running for 5-10 years+).
Another key feature of our tracking programmes is the benchmarking – clients of our programmes can compare shopper & retailer feedback across multiple retail accounts – all named by chain.
But we also run private and bespoke research-based or pure consulting projects for our clients too. We use a variety of research methodologies in our research & consulting work (all Market Research Society accredited).
The company was founded in 1967. The current management has over 30 years experience with him! research & consulting. him! research & consulting Australia was formed in 2006. The Convenience Tracking Programme was launched in America in 2008, in partnership with NACS.
