Research Director
To thrive in this influential role within the senior management team, you will have a proven track record delivering insightful, creative pieces (often mixed method in approach), as well as being able to manage and direct the future of major syndicated projects and embrace new and evolving research methodologies.
Your extensive track record from an agency or client-side environment will have equipped you with an excellent understanding and passion for shopper and retail research and an understanding of the ‘right tool for the job’.
To complement your innate curiosity and your 'can do' attitude you will possess a strong commercial focus, including excellent client service to maximise key relationships either alone or as part of a team. This role demands strong
managerial focus; the syndicated nature of many of our programmes requires careful management to balance the needs of all programme members plus internal teams!
This is a genuine opportunity to progress your research and management skills and to have a pivotal role in the development and strategy of the wider business and client mix, within an extremely fun, but results focussed environment.
Key skills required include:
- Extensive market research experience: either agency or client side with a proven track record in taking responsibility and ownership of projects.
- Good understanding of shopper and retail research (continuous and ad hoc)
- Insightful in delivery of presentations
- Ideas & experience with innovative online reporting
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent ability to build and develop client business and relations
Client Manager
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, supporting the ongoing needs of your client base including analysis of data, presenting to client teams and sales support.
You are likely to be a graduate with at least 3 years relevant work experience and should include a strong understanding of retail or in dealing with retailers (or operators within the channels of him!’s tracking programmes). Account management experience preferred, but ability to demonstrate best practice client management skills (communication, relationship developing, presenting, facilitation, data interpretation) considered.
