In the US, pubs and bars make the most of the biggest event in the on-trade calendar, the Superbowl, in a number of ways;

  • Charging for the luxury of a seat & table service
  • Offering free food to drive footfall (to encourage fans to arrive early)
  • Free pool after the game (to encourage fans to stay)
  • Give a % of all sales during the 4th quarter to a chosen charity
