Delivering customer satisfaction by day-part
Shopping behaviour at supermarkets differs significantly by day-part;
- Loyalty card usage (not necessarily ownership) is least prevalent in the evening - staff should prompt shoppers at this time of day specifically
- Baskets are more in demand in the evening – ensure easy access and multi-siting in store
- A higher % of shoppers will use a front of store kiosk in the evening – ensure staffing and availability is flexed accordingly
Next month him! will speak to 6,000 supermarket customers at Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrisons, Asda and the Co-operative – make sure you let your client manager know what you’d like us to ask.
