Fancy Tw-eeting me at the pub?

A publican in Wokingham hosts an event for local Twitter users called a “Tweetup”.

A poster for these monthly events called “Tweetupwoky” was spotted recently in the pub where the event is to be held. The Tweetups are arranged by a local business to enable Tweeters to meet face-to-face & socialise on a regular basis.

As well as getting out for a few hours and meeting new people, it does mean that conversations can be longer than 140-characters long!
