Sneaky peek at Asda’s converted Netto

him! just visited one of Asda’s new converted Netto stores in South Harrow and we were impressed by what we saw;
 

• a complete “ASDA” overhaul which has given it a fresh new look
• 10k+ grocery products, 4 x more than the old Netto store
• an in-store bakery, hot food counter and self service tills
• a logical flow and product adjacencies
• prices supported with the “Asda Price Guarantee” and clear communication of roll backs and deals
• customers can order home, leisure and George clothing items online and collect them in-store
• friendly and efficient ex-Netto colleagues who had all stayed with Asda, completing a week-long training programme
   

Next month him! will speak to shoppers at these ex-Netto stores to gain feedback on whether expectations are being met, and what else they’d like to see in stores.  The results will be benchmarked against shopper feedback from Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and Coop as part of our Supermarket Tracking Programme.
