Who wants kids?
Families, with kids, are a valuable customer group for pubs to attract. They are more than twice as likely to order food and have a higher overall spend per person. Are UK pubs doing enough to attract families?
Take a look at furniture retailer, Ikea. In their US cafes they offer half price kids meals, sell jars of baby food, have a place to warm baby bottles and offer changing facilities with free nappies for parents who are caught out (see below). Now that’s family friendly.
