With 20 years of Convenience Tracking, we have the depth and breadth to truly understand the industry trends and changing shopper behaviours that have shaped the convenience section, making him! the voice of authority in delivering convenience-tailored insights. We will take you on a journey through the years to highlight significant shifts in shopper behaviours and attitudes and offer some predictions as to how these are likely to change in the future.

Shopper Marketing

Shoppers behave differently in the convenience channel vs grocery and they spend much less time in store. The sector is also incredibly fragmented and complex and there is no data available to validate the ROI you get within shopper marketing…until now! Shoppers are on different missions, have different need states and different priorities in convenience and thus the power of shopper marketing is crucial in driving basket size and spend. Using a combination of in-store shopper interviews, POS audits, vision tracking of the shopper journey and sales data we can determine the performance and impact of in-store display material on shoppers in the convenience channel.

The CTP awards 2017 will be our most special yet as him! celebrates its 50th anniversary. The Convenience Tracking Programme (CTP) remains the biggest in-depth study in shopping behaviour in the UK, we speak to over 20,000 shoppers face to face in convenience stores and  thousands of store managers and staff each year, they are our judges.

The CTP awards 2017 will take place at the renowned music venue, Roundhouse, Camden, London. A venue that has heard from rock legends such as The Rolling Stones, David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix to name just a few.
