An Eyes and Ears on the new Little Waitrose at King's Cross

him! recently visited the new Little Waitrose store at King’s Cross station – it’s smallest store to date at just under 2,500 sq.ft.

With a growing trend for convenience stores within travel hubs (an M-local has recently opened at Nottingham train station), getting the right range within these small spaces is a challenge.

Rightly so, Little Waitrose has identified the travelling shopper’s need; focussing on food-to-go as well as ready meals for their evening meals, two key growth areas for convenience. Not only that but they have stuck to what they know best, offering a good range of quality fresh produce and a focus on availability of healthy products.
