Own label has seen a huge development in convenience

Our convenience research tells us that shoppers' perception of own label is developing and improving. 42% now rate the quality and range of own label in convenience stores as "excellent". Shoppers wanting to top-up or purchase a meal for tonight will be more open to own label products. Whilst own label is key to improving the value perception of convenience stores, shoppers do still want core brands available in all categories, some more than others.
