6% of shoppers are visiting Lidl to buy an item for their ‘meal for tonight' – a higher proportion than at both Aldi and Iceland.
It's fitting then that the Lidl website now offers a range of recipe ideas, is advertising ‘seasonal' BBQ related solutions and promotions, and even offering online DVD rentals for a ‘night in'.
