Asda's takeover of Netto's 193 UK stores last week could ignite another price war. According to NAMNews, Asda has pledged that prices in its smaller stores will match its biggest outlets, despite both Tesco and Sainsbury's charging higher prices for certain goods in their smaller outlets.
