The foodservice market is worth about £35bn per annum, has shown massive growth over the last decade…with “premium” retailers enjoying remarkable success. But will it last? Foodservice sales are now pretty flat. An economic downturn could further threaten sales through established foodservice operators – listening to customers and delivering against their needs becomes even more important when “the going gets tough”.
That's why we launched a food-to-go programme in 2007 – speaking to over 2,500 customers at the moment-oftruth to better advise retailers and our supplier clients on what customers want.
